do the shuffle

Brian has tagged me for the latest in blogger games: ipod shuffle. So, here are the first ten songs the played when I shuffled my ipod. And, like Brian, I had to go five more. You'll understand when you try it.

1. Bright Side of the Road – van Morrison
2. That I Would Be Good – Alanis Morissette
3. Gotta Serve Somebody – Bob Dylan
4. It Takes a lot to Laugh, It Takes a Train to Cry – Bob Dylan
5. I’m in the Mood – John Lee Hooker
6. Where It’s At – Beck
7. Graze – Live
8. To Ramona – Bob Dylan
9. Foot of Pride – Bob Dylan
10. Devil’s Haircut – Beck

11. Can’t Complain – Nickel Creek
12. Twilight Zone – van Morrison
13. Rock House Boogie – John Lee Hooker
14. Sunset Soon Forgotten – Iron and Wine
15. Nothin' but the Blues - Ellis Marsalis

I now pass on this madness to ... Kallie Markle, Jeff Hall, and Eric Lee.

Wow! Look at all the Dylan. I have a lot of Dylan on my iPod, but non came up in the shuffle game.

Interesting for sure. Dylan to Hooker to Beck to Live and even toss in a little Alanis and Morrison.

I was really nervous that something silly would come up on mine, like the music I have for my kids. Four Dylan songs gives you one perception, four Alanis songs a whole different one.

Enjoyed see you and your wife in KC.

Keep the faith,
Brian

Yeah, there were some good ones that popped up on the shuffle. It's odd, though, that while I have listened to Morrison and Hooker, they aren't my favorites. Dylan was appropriate as I am trying to broaden my knowledge of his music. This is a good game. You can tell a lot about people by their music. We, as well, enjoyed see you all.

Scott,
I'm in the process of posting my shuffle. I just got a blogspot up. My blog is at jeffdhall/blogspot.com
Check it out. Oh, by the way, love the Dylan.

What is the song with which you annoy people by playing over and over again?

Or album.

You know, I'd have to say that I really only listen to music in my car. If I listen to it at home it is not enough for me to have developed any tendencies so as to indicate what annoys people. I need to listen to more music at home.
